Does anybody have experience with being on an externship while a hurricane was headed towards the city you are rotating in? I am currently on an externship in a city near where a hurricane is projected to hit and am not sure what to do. Do the programs usually expect you to ride it out or will they let you go somewhere out of the path of the hurricane? I know this probably sounds like a stupid question but any advice from people with similar experiences would be much appreciated.
