Does anyone have any suggestions as to what services to rotate on at any one of these 3 programs (UW, Pitt, Vandy)? If no specific experience, any general information on what services to rotate on for aways would be appreciated. Thanks.

At Vandy:

If you do trauma with Dr. Obremsky, you'll be extremely busy, but he lets you run your own OR. You'll plate fractures, remove hardware, etc and he'll peek his head in, but you definitely run that OR. If you do tumor, you'll be working with the PD. If you do hand, you'll be working with some really great teachers. I did peds and loved it, but didn't get to do a whole lot in the OR.
