Hey All

I have a question about away rotations. I just recently decided (on an away rotation in another field) on pursuing orthopedics as a career and because of this late decision, my 4th year schedule can only fit in a Sub-I at my home school and one other away rotation at a school in the near-by area.

I guess my question is: Is it bad to do only one away rotation?

As above, one is better than none. They just give you more exposure to a program that you are interested in and possibly a better chance of matching there if you do a stellar job.

I personally did zero aways, but that was in the 90s.

It's better than doing no aways.
