Hi guys,

I want to do a rotation in the NYC area but am having a hard time choosing - should I do one at NYU - huge 12 resident/year program, but a high end program, or at a smaller semi-community program, i.e. St. Lukes Roosevelt or Lenox Hill? I am not that competitive, research-wise, so should I aim high for NYU or more realistic with the smaller programs?

My school is in the tri-state area, which I am already doing a rotation at. Would an away at NYU count for more at the smaller programs, and conversely would doing an away at the smaller programs hurt me with the more competitive ones?

Thanks!
