I interviewed there and wasn't too impressed. I only got to meet one intern and the two outgoing chiefs...not a good sign. The way their program was set up, one person does a typical 5 year residency and the other does a six year dedicating a year to research. If no one volunteers to do the research year, they decide who gets it by flipping a coin at the halftime of the superbowl. Patient pop is mainly elderly, and I think they go to another hospital for trauma. Hospital is a major cardic center in a very orthodox neighborhood of Brooklyn. Overall, not impressive.
