Job Status: Full-Time
Start Date: May 2008
Duration: at least 1 year

Description: Coordinate and assist orthopedic research projects in the Hand Service and the Foot & Ankle Service. Duties include preparing the agenda for weekly meetings, coordinating the efforts of research groups, preparing and managing internal review board protocols, drafting abstracts, implementing research designs, collecting and analyzing data, assisting jig construction, and identifying and recruiting patients into clinical studies. Projects include wrist motion analysis, plantar pressure, and retrospective clinical studies. Role further consists of managing the Foot and Ankle Cartilage Repair registry. There will be a high level of interaction with physicians, scientists, and other study personnel, as well as the likelihood of observing orthopedic and neurological surgeries, project permitting.
