I have had 3 knee surgeries since 2007 to repair the patella tendon in my left knee due to complications from a severe staph infection i developed from a cortizone shot I received. The doctor put the shot straight down through the tendon.

That being said, I have had 3 subsequent surgeries as a result to repair tendon tears, the last of which was March 2010. I have had numerous complications and am at the point now where the top knee surgeon in the state of Michigan is not sure what to do with my knee and has stated he has never seen a knee like mine in someone my age. (I'm 38)

I have had multiple physical therapies, 4 different PRP treatments, and we are now out of options and don't know where to turn next.

Are there other treatment options / hospitals / doctors that could suggest additional or alternative treatment methods?
