1. He founded Mid-America Orthopedics, a practice with five locations throughout Kansas, where he has practiced since 2000.
2. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
3. He sits on the executive board of Young Presidents' Organization, a network of young chief executives.
4. He is a member of the El Dorado, Kan.-based Butler Community College's Butler Foundation board.
5. He earned his medical degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he also completed an orthopedic residency.
