The research team focuses on in-house research for publications as well as clinical research for industry sponsored studies. The fellowship affords a close view of the real world of joint replacement surgeries with the latest techniques, along with an opportunity to utilize retrospective (chart review) and prospective (clinical trials) research based paper writing, presentations and seminars. We have published articles in all respected journals in the Orthopedic arena, and work with established names to critique the paper writing as well as research design for new topics. Networking opportunities are also afforded to the research fellow. Mentoring provided by Dr. Kreuzer is the high point of this fellowship.
Requirements: The incumbent must be self-disciplined, able to work with minimal supervision, have an interest in the orthopedic field wishing to apply for an orthopedic residency after this fellowship, and have completed or about to complete medical school curriculum. Applicants should send a short write up about their interest in the fellowship along with their CV.
Nominal remuneration for the fellowship work is included.
