OrthoCarolina Research Fellowship 2025-2026

The OrthoCarolina Research Institute (OCRI) is an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 uniquely positioned as both an academic research center and clinical research site servicing industry research. Research conducted at the OrthoCarolina Research Institute allows the physicians of OrthoCarolina,PA to offer the best available options, treatments, and cost savings identified through evidence-based research. Our research findings are repeatedly published worldwide for the betterment of orthopedics. 

Join our paid fellowship program as a Clinical Research Fellow collaborating with our OrthoCarolina Research Institute. You'll participate in various aspects of clinical research, from conducting outcome studies using large database queries to cadaveric science with our biomechanical studies. You'll gain hands-on experience managing IRB submissions, patient recruitment, and data collection. Hone your academic skills preparing abstracts, posters, and manuscripts while benefiting from mentorship from our esteemed physicians. Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, public health, or other related scientific field.
• Medical students between M2/M3 or M3/M4 interested in orthopedic surgery residency preferred.
