Dr. Jose Rodriguez invites all interested and qualified individuals to apply for an Orthopaedic Research Coordinator position in the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement (ARJR) Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY, NY. This presents a unique opportunity to work with world renowned faculty in the fields of hip and knee reconstructive surgery.

The research coordinator will work closely with Dr. Rodriguez and his clinical team, as well as departmental research assistants, biomechanics, biostatisticians, and the institution's IRB. Duties include assisting in study design, gathering and analyzing data, filming and editing surgical videos, submitting and presenting current work at regional, national and international conferences, and preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. 

Past coordinators have published in multiple journals and presented at multiple annual orthopaedic meetings. We are proud to say that our past research coordinators have gone on to match with success into an orthopaedic surgical residency.

Where: Hospital for Special Surgery, 535 East 70th Street, New York, NY 10021

When: Beginning Summer 2020.

Duration: 2 years, full-time position.

Salary: This position offers an adequate research coordinator salary.

PREREQUISITE EDUCATIONAL LEVEL OR CREDENTIALS: Medical students, medical school graduates, residents, and physicians interested in conductiong clinical research in the field of orthopaedic surgery are all encouraged to apply for the position.
