The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Geisinger Health System is offering a one year postdoctoral research fellowship to begin in July 2013. This is a sponsor funded position at a teaching hospital and level one trauma center in Danville, Pennsylvania.

This research fellowship will focus on orthopedic trauma. The fellow will participate in the full spectrum of clinical research: project design, data acquisition, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, poster/manuscript writing, and presentation. The individual will work closely with the orthopedic research team, which is comprised of research assistants, coordinators, manager, an international research fellow, and faculty.

Applicants must be graduates of a U.S. medical school (2013 graduates are acceptable), with a desire to pursue orthopedic surgery residency following the fellowship.
