The mission of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is to provide superb orthopaedic care by combining the expertise of renowned orthopaedic specialists and a state of the art translational research program. Currently, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking an individual to participate in a one-year orthopaedic research externship. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking to expand his/her knowledge of orthopaedic surgery and basic science research. The position will be working in the laboratory of the Department Chairman.

Responsibilities include: working with post-doctoral fellows on various basic science research projects related to developing clinical strategies to enhance bone repair.
