To my fellow orthopaedic surgery colleagues,

My hope is that this post finds someone in the community sympathetic to my dilemma. My entire life prior to the summer of 2008 had been devoted to orthopaedic surgery. Unfortunately, during my PGY5 year I was thrown a major curve ball in the form of an illness that required me to seek treatment. Only by grace have I recovered, and now want more than anything to return to orthopaedic surgery. If anyone knows of residency programs in need of another resident, could you please contact me, or perhaps steer me in the correct direction? I'd be more than willing to enter residency as a PGY2 resident, and repeat the necessary years of training. My email address, should you like to write is jlc2198@columbia.edu. I thank you so much for your support. Warm regards.
