To all,

Do you think it would be beneficial to have a section on the OSRR with sample personal statement and CVs? If so, would some of you be willing to send me yours to place anonymously? It will probably be something we'll add after the match for future generations.

I think it is a good idea for CVs...Personal statements, I am not sure. I think they should truly be personal and unique and not follow a template found on a web community.

I had access to several previous personal statements from ortho residents. I thought it was interesting to see what people wrote. I would support the idea and contibute my info.

I only got a couple of CVs and PSs. I was hoping for more. However, I'll try to get this out soon.

This is another call for CVs and Personal statements!!! Preferably from those of you out there who have started their residencies. I only have 2 for each, so not much variety yet.

You can few these CVs and PSs as Microsoft Word documents on the web at:

I'll be more than happy to submit mine after the match in March. Hopefully others will too, I think this is a great idea. If people are crazy enough to plagiarize CVs or PSs because Dr Langeland posts them, then more power to them because I'm sure program directors/secretaries etc. frequent this and related sites and that would be the kiss of death to someone's app.

Just another call from those of you who have matched. Care to share your PSs and CVs for future students? Of course, blank out personal or indentifying info. Thanks.
