How far do most people have to go on their rank list....on here it seems like everyone matches there top 3 but I have a hard time believing that is representative of all applicants...
how many people have to go to num ten or lower on their list???
Take a look at the contigous rank data from the NRMP charting outcomes from last year.
Given the fact that many US seniors failed to match even though they had 8, 10, 12 or even 16+ ranks, I'm guessing it is not uncommon to go below your top 3.
