I would tell you to preview your programs carefully. I rotated at one of the programs some time ago and I found the experience to be miserable. So, if you plan to spend more than a month at the program (i.e. fellowship or residency), I would say get to the program and a feel for the residents and faculty because it will make all of the difference in the world
