I just found out that I got assigned to peds service for one of my aways. I'm pretty excited about it because I'm interested in spine and I'll get to see some cool scoliosis cases, etc. But, I'm also a bit worried about how well it's going to prepare me for subsequent aways. Has anybody else been in a similar situation? And if so, what's the best way to shine on this rotation and turn it into something that can ultimately benefit me in this whole match process? I think the answer is pretty obvious (LORs, etc.) but just looking for some additional feedback.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
