Interview Rejection Thread 2009-2010

got the same message regarding slu about still under consideration.

I can't figure out whether or not that's a wait list, or they just send out waves of interviews.. it's not clear.

For SLU, did you get a thing saying that you're "still under consideration" or am I actually on a real waitlist for once?

Wait list email from Mt. Sinai was different. Said we would be notified by Dec. 11 if we made it off the wait list.

"We sincerely regret that we cannot offer you an interview at this time. You have our best wishes for success in locating the career opportunity you strive towards. We will retain your application in our files to review for future openings. In the event of an appropriate available position, we will not hesitate to contact you."

I'd call that a straight-up rejection, but maybe others are calling it a waitlist.

First time posting, long time reader. I rotated at Mount Sinai and have not heard back from them yet either. Good news, I called the program coordinator and she said that she will be sending out more invites tomorrow.

I got the silent treatment from Mt. Sinai, so maybe that's how the reject people.
