Hi,
I was wondering if any of you had an idea about programs that are IMG friendly....I am a foreign graduate with 98/242 and 96/236 and 83 in steps I, II and III; doing prelim year surgery at USC (Cali); planning to take the OITE this year (got permission). If a program is not big/urban are they more likely to look to img's? What do you think?

Your best shot is to do a year or two of ortho research. Taking the OITE is unlikely to be helpful.

Consider
1) The curtis hand center in Baltimore
2) Research fellow with Michael A. Mont, MD at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore
3) Researc fellow with Dror Paley, MD in at Sinai Hospital Baltimore
4) Research fellow at Lennox Hill in NYC

There are several other plces as well. I know Dr. Mont has been successful with other IMG's
