I applied to several programs for an away rotation for the same month. I found out from one institution that I was accepted. I have yet to hear back from the other two programs. I was hoping to hear from the other two rotations whether I would be accepted, because I am more interested in the latter two programs. My question is this... Should I wait for the other programs to get back to me, or do I take the first institution's offer. What is the proper etiquette in this situation.

To be perfectly honest, the proper etiquette would have been not to apply for multiple aways for the same month until you heard yes/no from the other programs. The ones you have to cancel on will probably remember it...sorry, but its the truth. Getting aways is stressful and I know you want to make a good impression; if I were you, I'd try to schedule at least one of the other two programs on another date. Hope this helps...
