Just curious as to everyone's input of being a DO student trying for ortho:
Step 1 mid 250s, Step 2 (awaiting results)
Top 10% of class (have the DO equivalent to AOA)
All A's in clerkships
Have good teaching/tutoring experience
Several ortho case reports (being published currently)
I currently don't have any away rotations, as most places don't allow DO students to rotate through VSAS. This is probably my biggest concern as I know the importance of auditioning. Thanks for any input.
