Topic: Massachusetts General Hospital / Newton-Wellesley Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery Adult Reconstruction Research Fellowship (1 year)

Position: Orthopaedic Surgery Adult Reconstruction Research Fellow for Drs. Hany Bedair and Christopher Melnic

When: June 2023- June 2024

Where: Massachusetts General Hospital and Newton-Wellesley Hospital

Salary: Paid

Drs. Melnic and Bedair are seeking a highly motivated and highly organized medical student interested in orthopaedic surgery residency for a twelve-month research fellowship between their third and fourth years of medical school. The student must be enrolled in a US medical school. 

During this one year research period, the selected candidate will help with coordination of research projects, collecting and analyzing data, submission of IRB protocols, and writing / editing adult reconstruction manuscripts and book chapters. Most recent student will finish with 15+ manuscripts, several as first author.

Candidates should be comfortable with statistical analysis of data.
