Does anyone know if it makes a difference whether you submit your ERAS application Sept 1 (when the programs can first view them) or mid-September (when I hope to get mine in)? Do programs wait a week or two to get a stack of applications or start inviting people for interviews as the applications come in? Appreciate any advice.

A guy that matched last year told me that he got his stuff in in late Sept. and it was plenty early. The programs won't get started now because they have to wait for all the letters, Dean's letter, transcripts which don't come out until Nov. anyway. I think it's still pretty early.
