I know this topic has been addressed in the past years conversations.
Is the end of September/early october a good time to have your application in by?
What, if any, are the advantages of applying early? or disadvantages of applying late?

Some programs, I have heard, will download applications periodically as soon as they are released, so I'm going to aim for the 'ole sooner the better. Got to finish my EVIL personal statement first, however.

will submit mine as soon as the ERAS post office opens up. There's a lot of advice on when to submit applications but truly, I don't think it matters at all! If you're a good candidate for a position, then it doesn't matter. If you're not a good candidate is there really a time when programs will think that your application is decent? Submit anytime as long as you don't tread along the deadline.
