I've been checking it out for the month prior to you and found it ain't cheap. I preferred to have my own place and found several resident hotels that range from $750 to $950 depending on if you wanted your own bathroom or were willing to share or use the hall bath. Of course it could be more expensive, this was as cheap as I could find. Just do a google search for san francisco university or ucsf and housing and you'll find several options. Good luck.
