Hey. I recently finished a sub-internship in sports medicine. Since our elective covers primarily the shoulder, I used Rockwood and Matsen's book, The Shoulder. I was able to check it out of my medical school's library. Chapters 2 (anatomy) and 4 (physical exam) are particularly useful. Of course, the book I used most is Netter's Orthopaedic Anatomy Atlas/Text--very concise and high yield.

DeLee also has a good (but VERY big) sports book. Be sure to know your knee and shoulder anatomy/exam as these are probaly the two biggest areas in sports (generally speaking)

Miller has a sports review book out within the past year. It is a similar format to his review book that covers all of ortho and most residents use for OITE review.
