The Department of Pediatric Orthopaedics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center is in search of qualified applicants to apply for the role of Research Assistant.
The position will begin on or before July 1, 2018; it will be open to all candidates who will be medical school graduates at that time OR seeking to take a gap year of research.
The Research Assistant has the opportunity to work with multiple orthopaedic surgeons and collaborate on many projects. Research Assistants in the past have produced multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.

Requirements:
Applicants should be medical graduates or medical students who are proactive and interested in orthopaedic surgery residency
Description:
- 1 year minimum commitment
- Collaborate with multiple primary investigators
- Manage all regulatory documentation and affairs in accordance with local and national guidelines
- Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, and presentations for national and local conferences
- Applicant should be familiar with study design, grant writing, data collection, data analysis and biostatistics
