Mayo Clinic Jacksonville Orthopedic Surgery Department invites senior medical students, residents, and fellows to apply for a one-year clinical research fellowship. This fellowship is ideal for individuals interested in orthopedic surgery who would like to strengthen their application prior to the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Match. The research fellow will have an opportunity to work with numerous board certified orthopedic surgeons interested in clinical research.

The fellow will be responsible for numerous projects with several investigators. This fellow will gain experience in all aspects of clinical research including: project design, hypothesis development, Institutional Review Board application, grant proposals, literature searches, database development, and manuscript preparation. The chosen applicant will be able to publish multiple projects during the year, and submit projects to national/international orthopedic meetings.

If you have any additional questions regarding the fellowship, or are interested in applying, please contact Dr. John Redmond at redmond.john@mayo.edu.

Sincerely,
John Redmond, M.D.
