Have a conflict and was looking for some advice. Chicago is a much cooler city than Cincy, but from what I have read, Cincy may be a slightly better program. If anyone has time to put down a turkey leg, I would appreciate some input. Thanks.

Interviewed at both programs. Kind of similar programs in that both have big name hand surgeons as chairman. Stern at Cincy is probably premiere guy in hand as is Light in Loyola.

Both were great programs and I liked both a lot. Ended up ranking Cinci higher because I thought it offered more in terms of operative experience from accounts at interviews. I guess I just felt like I fit in better also. Research opportunities available at both places. Chicago beats Cinci hands down but is much more expensive too.

This is a tough decision and it's a shame you have a conflict. But honestly you couldn't go wrong with either place as both are very good programs.

flip a coin.
