I'm planning on doing an away elective at Harvard, and would like to get an idea of which of their courses/attendings are good to work with. I would like to try and work with someone who likes to teach, will go to bat for me if I impress him/her, and has sufficient clout so their word/letter will be meaningful.

Some of the names involved with their electives are: Meeks, Zilberfarb, Richardson, Martin, Wright, Thornhill, Gill, Hresko, and Simmons.

Otherwise, I suppose I should just throw my name into the pile and hope for the best?

Thanks,
b

Doo-dum ... how about if I change my question and just ask, does it matter who I work with at a program, and should I even be asking these questions? Or is it one of those just go there, work hard, and all will be well things?

Thanks
