I'm a second year. Just curious about the % unmatched this year. Also any interesting stories of
programs or interviews?

I think the unmatched % was around 14% this year. No intereesting stories about programs yet...I'm a
third year.

The following is from page 23 of an official AAMC/NRMP report for the 2001 Match.
This number is based on data on U.S. seniors choosing ortho as their only specialty when trying to
match.

yields a 16% unmatch rate for 2001.
12,356 applicants listed one specialty on their rank lists, which represents 85.5% of U.S. seniors.
