I am currently doing a research year at an academic institution. I know that people in the past have taken the OITE prior to residency. Our coordinator contact the AAOS and was told that the test is for residents only. Does anyone have information on how a post-grad non-resident could take the OITE?

This is an interesting concept I hadn't heard before?

Do you think this would be helpful, it's probably a hard test if you aren't in an Ortho residency?
