Question:

I didnt match this year and was wondering if people knew which programs out there refuse to give reapplicants interviews, regardless of their application? I heard alot of programs screen out reapplicants. My scores and grades were all excellent(>250 step 1 and 2, AOA), and I'm planning on applying to like 80 programs anyways. I just dont want to waste my time at places that wont even give me a chance. I have a new perspective on all the matching stuff, I dont have high hopes for "top" programs, I just want to end up ANYWHERE.

I remember running into reapplicants on the interview trail at Wright State (Dayton, OH) and Indiana University.

Doesn't really answer your question, but any little bit helps, right?

I was a reapplicant last year, here are the places that I hear will offer interviews:
Albany Medical Center
Alleghany Hospital in Pittsburgh
Wright State
UMKC - the program director actually prefers those who have done prelim years
St. Joe's in New Jersey
Marshall
Detroit Medical Center
Monmouth
Grand Rapids

And I know for a fact that UT Southwestern in Dallas does not offer interviews to re-applicants.

Hope that helps

p.s. this is in no way a complete list. With the numbers you have, I would apply everywhere. There is no way to predict the game that is the Match.
