Position: Clinical Research Fellow (Research Specialist)
Duration: 1-2 years
Where: The University of Missouri, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery (Columbia, MO)
When: Available Now
Salary: Yes

The ideal candidate is a recent medical school graduate or current medical student, (with availability now), who has an interest in orthopaedic research. We are looking for someone who is seeking to enhance their residency application. This individual must have the following attributes:

1. Strong academic record
2. Extremely organized
3. Detail oriented
4. Takes responsibility for positive work atmosphere
5. Articulate and communicative
6. Intrinsically motivated
7. Contributes to the rewarding MOI team culture

The Research Specialist will be expected to:

1. Coordinate all aspects of assigned research projects
2. Prepare research protocols/applications (IRB applications, creating protocols, creating consents, etc.)
3. Identify, consent, and act as a resource for study participants
4. Collect data on research subjects via chart reviews, imaging, follow-up visits, etc.
5. Maintain patient databases
