I have both Tulane and Maricopa scheduled for January 10 and would really appreciate anyone who could trade me dates. Maricopa's other date is January 11 and I really want to interview here so I'm desperate for a trade. I would also love to trade for Tulane's other dates. Please let me know if anyone can switch. Thanks.

Platesandscrews,

Join the January 10th club. Know that you are not alone. As someone who had to choose between multiple programs on that date alone and unfortunately turn down a couple, I'm acquainted with your pain. I'm certain there are many on this board that had to make similarly difficult choices, especially for that date. I do wish you luck in finding someone to swap with. However, consider that the longer you hold onto multiple invites, the longer you deprive other candidates of the opportunity for an interview.

I think 4 days notice is pretty sh*tty to give both the program and anyone on the waitlist. Just my opinion.

I certainly didn't think I was alone with the 1/10 problem, I was just hoping to find someone else to trade with. I didn't happen. That's life.

I appreciate your concern for my plight DJD, I already cancelled with the program I won't be interviewing with. I hope you're on the waiting list and you get the interview. Good luck. Just a tip -- don't use the same eloquent speech in your interviews that you do in your posts.

Sorry, I guess I was a bit harsh. I do feel your plight and I agree that it's ridiculous we can not make it to all our interviews. That being said, waiting to the last minute is a bit inconsiderate to others, but I did not mean to be so boarish.
