Research fellows will also be provided with a rich and well-rounded experience that we hope will have a long-lasting impact on their careers. During the year, fellows will work closely with Dr. Srikumaran, JHU residents and fellows, and other members of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Students must be actively enrolled in a US Medical School.

Dr. Uma Srikumaran is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Director of the Johns Hopkins University Clinical Shoulder Fellowship, and Vice Chair of Quality, Safety, & Service.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University has weekly educational activities that you are welcome to take part in. These include grand rounds, shoulder research/clinical meetings, and journal club. Finally, fellows have the opportunity to attend clinics, surgery, and work directly with Dr. Srikumaran.
