For those of you with an abundance of interviews and/or expected conflicts:
Please be kind enough to call the programs and let them know that you do not plan on attending and make room available for those of us on the wait list or with other conflict dates. Thank you in advance for making this awful process slightly more tolerable.

I think that is what most of us are doing. At least, I would hope so. If I get an interview that I would rather go to, I cancel the previously scheduled interview the same day... there is no need to delay. It won't help you at all to keep it, and only potentially hurts others.
