Hi guys,

I've done a pretty extensive search of the literature regarding lead safety and I wanted to see what your thoughts were on OR lead. This is generally what I've found and I'm trying to be pushed one way or the other with lightweight vs standard lead aprons, so discussion and thoughts on this would be massively helpful. I'm tired of just hearing the manufacturers opinions on this...

Original lead-
Good: good protection, the standard by which other vests are measured
Bad: heavy, can theoretically leech lead

Lightweight/lead free-
Good: light weight, no concerns of lead leeching
Bad: some independent studies showing certain brands may not even work at certain wavelengths

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
