Things have been running cold for me.... really cold. I'm a pretty average to slightly above average candidate... not at the bottom of the pool and not at the top... Step 1 in upper 230's, equal honors/high pass, and decent letters, no AOA, no ortho research but significant research and submission/poster presentations in a different field. Anyways, the purpose of this is to see how everyone is doing. I know of a lot of people getting interviews, some lesser competitive and also more competitive candidates. Kinda feels like I've gotten stuck in the "grey" zone and getting passed by with interview offers. I myself have received a couple invites, with the last one being a while back. Not to drag this paragraph any longer, but I just felt another poll might be a good idea not just for me but for others who may feel like they are also stuck in this "grey" zone.
