Hello all! I was looking for a little bit of advice and direction- hoping someone can give me some honest advice! I have always wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon, however, I am fighting an uphill battle. I am an IMG from a Caribbean medical school with average grades and a Step 1 score of 226. I have been published once in a non- orthopedic related field. Basically looking for advice on how to best get into the field. I am willing to do whatever it takes- time isn't an issue for me!
