Scheduled for June 14–16, 2027, in Rome, Italy, the International Congress on Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation Science and Functional Outcomes (PMR Outcomes 2027) will feature Virtual participation for the worldwide professional community. The Physical Medicine Conference will examine contemporary perspectives on pain rehabilitation, physical function, recovery, and rehabilitation science.

Persistent pain can influence movement, physical activity, emotional wellbeing, and everyday participation. The Physical Medicine Conferences will provide opportunities to discuss rehabilitation-oriented approaches that address these interconnected challenges while emphasizing functional improvement.

Scientific themes will cover physical medicine, pain management, therapeutic exercise, physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal recovery, occupational therapy, sports rehabilitation, functional assessment, and patient-centered care. Contributions may explore non-pharmacological interventions, movement-based strategies, rehabilitation planning, and methods for evaluating progress.

Researchers will have an opportunity to present findings related to pain assessment, functional outcome measures, individualized intervention, recovery monitoring, and multidisciplinary treatment models. Practitioners can gain perspectives on how research evidence may inform rehabilitation pathways.

Keynote lectures, scientific presentations, oral communications, poster sessions, and professional discussions will form part of the congress program. These sessions will encourage dialogue among specialists with different clinical and research backgrounds.

Physical Medicine Conference 2027 is intended for physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation scientists, researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, and students. The meeting will support professional learning while creating opportunities to exchange experiences and identify areas requiring additional investigation.

By combining perspectives from pain science and rehabilitation practice, the congress will contribute to broader discussions about restoring physical function and improving daily life. Participants can explore emerging ideas while developing connections with colleagues engaged in related areas of healthcare and research.
