Our team has an immediate opening for a voluntary lab assistant position in the Implant Retrieval Lab. This is a great opportunity for a motivated medical student or recent graduate to get hands-on experience in a working orthopaedic research lab. After a period of training, there will be opportunities to get involved with studies leading to publications. Although this is an unfunded position, previous students have found it to be very worthwhile in terms of gaining insight, experience, publications and networking. A minimum of 20 hours a week is required; there are no special requirements other than a degree in the sciences or engineering fields and a strong commitment to making the best use of these opportunities.
Please send a CV with a paragraph describing your background and aspirations in a return email.
We look forward to hearing from you.
