My left ankle colapses outwardly. If I walk on flat hard surfaces my left ankle rolls to the left (outside) a bit. If I walk on sand my left ankle colapses to the outside completely.

Is there an operation that will repair the controling tendon? Is there a way to "lock" the lateral rotation of the ankle \?

I am an 87 year old male in good health. Information that will alow me to contact surgeons specialising in this field will be appreciated.
