The Miami Orthopaedic Research Foundation in collaboration with the Larkin Community Hospital Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a highly motivated MD or DO graduate or current applicant (including unmatched applicants) for a 2-year paid Orthopaedic Research Fellowship. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with Dr. Arturo Corces, Program Director, and a high-volume adult reconstruction service, while integrating closely with orthopaedic surgery residents in an academically active environment. Position OverviewThe research fellow will play a central leadership role in all ongoing research activities within the department. This includes managing and advancing a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple subspecialties. Ideal Candidate
- MD or DO graduate (unmatched applicants encouraged to apply)
- Strong interest in orthopaedic surgery
- Demonstrated research experience preferred but not required
- Experience with statistical analysis, RStudio, and REDCap
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects
- Strong writing and communication skills
Compensation
- Paid position with salary support through institutional and grant funding. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
