Category:  It is that time of the year again!!
We are now accepting applications for 2022-2023 Shoulder/Elbow PAID clinical research fellowship.
Please refer to the application process below:

The Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute, in Fort Lauderdale Florida, invites applications for senior medical students (MSIII-IV) or recent graduates to apply for their competitive annual research fellowship position. Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute is South Florida's leading orthopedic center performing cutting-edge research in adult reconstruction, robotics, and sensors. The Institute is consistently ranked as one of the nation's top hospital for orthopedic care. A goal of this all-inclusive fellowship is to immerse oneself in academic research (10-20 publications within the year), strengthen their application for the Orthopaedic Residency Match, and gain exposure to the private-academic orthopedic surgeon career model.

The research fellow will work directly under the mentorship of Jonathan Levy, M.D. and will function as the research fellow for any new or ongoing projects.

The research fellow can expect to obtain proficiency in research study design and planning; IRB writing and maintenance; development of patient registries; the ability to effectively and efficiently write manuscripts and prepare academic talks; manuscript preparation and submission; exposure to cutting-edge orthopedic surgical treatment options. The research fellow can tailor their experience to their interest. We currently have upwards of 20 studies ongoing, with a prospective clinical outcomes database of over 6000 surgeries.
