Currently accepting applications for an Orthopaedic Trauma Service Research Fellow at Florida Orthopaedic Institute. 1 year (possibly 2 years depending upon the candidate) full time in-person position starting in July 2026 intended to provide training and education in research and involvement with multiple ongoing and new projects. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their medical and research training, prior research experience, and peer-reviewed publications.

The Research Fellow will perform duties related to the conduct of clinical trials in orthopedic trauma surgery. They will be responsible for screening and enrolling patients into clinical trials; scheduling and coordinating diagnostic testing; conducting follow-up visits in clinic; collecting and entering data, clinical documentation, and assisting with grant, abstract and manuscript preparation and submission.

The following is required for application:

- Current Curriculum Vitae with Bibliography
- Medical Diploma (if graduated; 3rd/4th year Medical Students taking a gap year will be considered with a letter of good standing)
- 2 references

Qualifications
-Must be Enrolled (3rd/4th Year Medical Students) or have an M.D. or D. O. degree from a U.S or internationally accredited institution.
-IMG's must provide information regarding their current visa status.
-Previous experience in orthopedics and research preferred.
