The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Winthrop Hospital is pleased to announce our newly accredited ACGME residency training program in Orthopaedic Surgery. The five year program will sponsor 15 residents (three in each year of training), and will begin recruiting three PGY-1 level residents for July 1, 2018.
NYU Winthrop, an affiliate of NYU Langone, is a 591-bed tertiary care facility providing world class care throughout the Long Island and greater New York metropolitan region. As a level 1 trauma center, residents receive a strong, diverse surgical experience along with unique hands-on patient care opportunities. Now sponsoring 25 independent residency and fellowship programs, Winthrop is dedicated to teaching and research. In addition, NYU Winthrop Hospital was named the 18th best large employer in America by Forbes Magazine in 2017.
