This course is designed for physicians, fellows, and residents specializing in orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.
The modern care of patients who suffer from challenging clinical spine-related conditions requires a multidisciplinary team approach. Mayo Clinic's Spino-Plastic Reconstruction Symposium provides spine surgeons from neurosurgery and orthopedic and plastic surgeons the latest advances and innovations in spinal surgery.
Topics include, pedicled bone grafting, free tissue transfer, allograft and autograft arthrodesis, and newer spino-plastics frontiers. The format is case-based, panel discussions, hands-on workshop including surgical demonstration. The symposium highlights the latest procedures in spinal surgery and plastic surgery technologies.
