The Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute, in Fort Lauderdale Florida, invites applications for senior medical students (MSIII-IV) or recent graduates to apply for their competitive annual research fellowship position. Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute is South Florida€™s leading orthopedic center performing cutting-edge research in robotics, sensors, shoulder and elbow surgery, and sports medicine. The research fellow can expect to obtain proficiency in research study design and planning; IRB writing and maintenance; development of patient registries; the ability to effectively and efficiently write manuscripts and prepare academic talks; manuscript preparation and submission; exposure to cutting-edge orthopedic surgical treatment options. The research fellow can tailor their experience to their interest. We currently have upwards of 30 studies ongoing, with a prospective clinical outcomes database of over 5000 surgeries.
